FAQ's

From delivery to installation — here are the questions we are most frequently asked.
How does Weeplow filtration work?
Water is poured into the upper tank and then slowly passes through the O’Pure 2 filter elements by gravity. This slow flow maximizes the contact time between the water and the filtering media, allowing for deeper filtration than pressure-based systems. Contaminants are retained, while the naturally occurring minerals in the water are preserved.
What contaminants do Weeplow filters remove?
Independent tests have demonstrated significant reductions in bacteria (including E. coli), viruses (MS2 99.9999%), heavy metals like lead and mercury, chlorine and chloramines, pesticides, PFAS (the forever pollutants), and microplastics. Detailed results are available in the laboratory reports on the O'Pure 2 product page.
Do Weeplow systems require electricity?
No. The system operates entirely by gravity, making it especially useful during power outages and in places without network infrastructure. No installation is required beyond placing it on your countertop.
Are Weeplow filters easy to install?
Yes. Most customers assemble their system and start their first filtration cycle in less than 20 minutes. Everything you need is in the box — no tools, plumbing work, or professional help required.
How often should the filters be replaced?
A pair of O'Pure 2 elements filters up to 22,000 liters — which usually corresponds to one or two years for most households. Higher sediment levels may reduce this duration. Replace them when the flow visibly slows down, or at the 12-month mark as a precaution.
