FAQ's

From delivery to installation — here's what people ask us most.
How does Weeplow filtration work?
Water enters the upper chamber and flows downward through the O'Pure 2 filter elements under gravity alone. The slow, controlled flow gives the filter media maximum contact time with the water, which is what makes gravity filtration more thorough than faster, pressure-driven methods. Contaminants are trapped; minerals pass through.
What contaminants do Weeplow filters remove?
Independent testing has demonstrated significant reductions across bacteria (including E. coli), viruses (MS2 99.9999%), heavy metals including lead and mercury, chlorine and chloramines, pesticides, PFAS (forever chemicals), and microplastics. Detailed results are available in the lab reports on the O'Pure 2 product page.
Do Weeplow gravity systems require electricity?
No. The system runs entirely on gravity, which makes it useful during power outages and in locations without mains infrastructure. No installation required beyond placing it on your worktop.
Are Weeplow filters easy to install?
Yes. Most customers have their system assembled and running their first filtration cycle within 20 minutes. Everything you need is in the box — no tools, no plumbing, no professional help.
How often should I replace the filters?
A pair of O'Pure 2 elements filters up to 22,000 litres — typically one to two years for most households. Higher sediment levels can shorten that. Replace when flow rate noticeably slows, or at the 12-month mark as a precaution.
